- Dr. Barrett received a nursing diploma from Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts, a Masters Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, and a PhD in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She holds a certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing.
