Staffing Effectiveness Indicators (SEI)
- In PI.04.01.01 Note 2: The Joint Commission’s list of approved screening indicators consists of National Quality Forum (NQF) nursing sensitive patient care measures and Joint Commission consensus measures. 34 screening indicators for hospitals are listed in the E-dition Standards Manual in the section entitled, Staffing Effectiveness Indicators (SEI) under the Accreditation Process Info heading.
- National Voluntary Consensus Standards for Nursing-Sensitive Care: An Initial Performance Measure Set (Oct 2004)1209: The report presents 15 performance measures for nursing-sensitive care endorsed by NQF in 2004.
